Former UFC champion Cody Garbrandt (12-4) posted a plea on social media.
“Rob was better that night. I feel like I fought in the cage with myself, but I don’t want to diminish his merits, my congratulations to his team.
My team and I are going to shake things up and come back. We’re still hungry to be the best, to have a championship title. Sometimes there are challenges on the road to your dreams that make you work harder, make you realize what you need to do, and make your climb to the top more enjoyable.
I’m really grateful. Just wanted to tell you guys how much I appreciate your support. I’m trying to fight as hard as I can for you guys. Thank you,” Garbrandt said.
